Webster's defines a Gubb as:

Gubb

Derived from old Martinson. (N.); Gubb, Gubbs.

(1.) A word commonly used to refer to a woman's breasts, tits, knockers, hooters, rack, or chest.

EX. "Look at the Gubbs on that!"

(2.) A word used to signify unity among friends. Usually in males ages 18-50.

EX. "You're a true Gubb Frank

• Gubblet; Referring to the offspring of a Gubb parent.

• Gubber; Gubbs term of endearment, often associated with a youngster or even a pet.

Even though it is clearly defined in the pretigious pages of Webster's Dictionary, many of you may still find yourselves unable to grasp the concept of just what it means to be a Gubb. Many Bloomington softball players have tried to decifer the team name and failed. Everyone it seems, has their own idea as to what the team is for. There have been rumors that Gubbs is a local bar in northern Minnesota. Or that it's a college fraternity at some Ivy League school. Still others insist that it is nothing more than an achronim for some obscure sexual referenc

 

 

Chances are good that you've overheard someone talking about Gubbs or that you've seen somebody on the street wearing Gubbs Brand clothing (otherwise known as: Gubb Gear). You might have been thinking to yourself, "Just how can I become a Gubb?" The unfortunate answer for many is that you simply cannot ever become a Gubb. The Gubbs are an elite group of individuals that despite public controversy, are much more than softball playing, beer guzzling, overweight men whose main goal in life is to degrade women and stay as politically incorrect and inebriated as humanly possible. On the contrary, the Gubbs are an honest, hardworking group of young men that enjoy their sport, the commaradary of their teammates, and the thrill of victory.
